Curb Appeal
Begin with the exterior of your home, or your curb appeal. Take a fresh look at the exterior of your house from the view of a passerby. What do you notice first? What dollar-earning characteristics seem hidden? Knowing this assists us in determining what we can do to draw buyers from the street and into your house. If your home isn't pretty on the outside with refreshed paint and colorful greenery we'll need to tackle those issues. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and elevate your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Does your home seem to say, "Hello From Your New Place" to a buyer? Examining your property with a critical eye, I'll recommend changes that enhance sales appeal. I'll help you take away anything that gives the impression of clutter. Table and counter tops should be free and clear. Arts and crafts, souvenirs, family photos, and play time drawings should get stored away too. We need to "generalize" the house so buyers can imagine it as their new house.
I know instantly where a room's best characteristics are and how to highlight them. Improvements that directly impact your dollars include easy-to-fix items like pieces of furniture that should be removed, rooms that need new paint, carpet that needs to be replaced, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need washing
Working together, we'll make sure your home is likable and that it's welcoming, staying away from "offensive" or "can't-work-with" hues on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can try renting furniture. You want your home to look ready to live in as opposed to cold and empty.

Setting the Stage In every opportunity, we're doing well if we're engaging the buyer's senses. To counteract darkness is a mood changer and we'll part the curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to welcome the buyer. We'll enhance the mood of the house with enjoyable music playing lightly and make sure a delightful fragrance flows throughout your house. We'll add cozy-looking blankets, and place pillows on your loveseat and bedding. Buyers should feel like your current house is their future home. |
